Un jumeau numérique urbain pour les publics. L'exemple de Charleville (Ardennes)

Abstract : Thanks to the restructuring of demographic data and the modeling of spatiotemporal information, it has been possible to follow the evolution of the urban fabric by forming a 4D digital double or twin online. This new open tool was set up between 2016 and 2021 as part of: - axis 1 of the Roland Mousnier Center (UMR 8596). - the call for projects "Emergence" Sorbonne University (winner, session 2019) .-the scientific and technical partnership (agreement) between the National Archives of France and the Roland Mousnier Center.-the scientific and technical collaboration (framework agreement) between the Center Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB) and the CNRS. link to the urban digital twin link to the project 1. Founded in the 17th century, Charleville (Ardennes) is characterized by the great wealth of its iconographic and demographic archives. The main characteristic of the city, concerning the history of its population, is the realization by the municipal authorities of a nominative, spatialized and annual census of the inhabitants, undertaken until the beginning of the 20th century. Digitization and posting of the “Dodet” map (S. Rassat, W. Simeonin).
