La polysémie comme source d'analogie L'exemple du verbe « monter »

Abstract : Several models linguistic (Desclés, 1990; Picoche, 1989) suggest regarding the lexical items such as the verbs as categories of significances. This assumption appears interesting to us because it would make it possible to provide an explanation to the metaphorical uses of certain verbs such as those which one can meet in certain expressions idiomatic or childish expressions. We propose to look at these phenomena of linguistic creativity like phenomena of categorization based on the structuring of various employment from item lexical. The results of a first exploratory study where the subjects had to classify the various uses of the verb "to go up" accredit this assumption.
