Le recto tono dans la récitation collective du Coran dite "lecture du ḥizb" : une image sonore d’un espace sacré étendu

Abstract : The collective recitation of the Qur’an in mosques, with a ritual character, is a typical Maghreb practice. The principle of the recto tono adopted by the vocal form of the recitation of the ḥizb appears as the result of the junction of the two dimensions of the sacred and the (open) space. This study, carried out according to an investigation in Casablanca, attempts to account for such a correlation between vocal form and ritual content.
